Here's a project I've been working on for several months. Thanks to my dear friend, Holly Cochran who sent me this task. She sent me a piece of meteorite, and asked me to recapture some of the magic I brought to the sword called Crafengau. That blade was stolen many years ago, and we've all felt it's a loss. So with this mission in mind, I decided to create something different. The sword was for the King, this axe is for the Queen alone. That said I present to you...."Queen's Wrath". | Here's a project I've been working on for several months. Thanks to my dear friend, Holly Cochran who sent me this task. Introduction
Hengest Ulfsson, created a new and amazing piece of our kingdom, as he has before. Here the moment that “Queens’ Wrath” was presented to Rhianwen for the future queens of Calontir to hold. Facebook Permalink] (Hopefully.)
Mistress Aidan Cochran provided inspiration, meteoric materials and funding.
Master Alan Smyith of Darkdale crafted the wonderful carrying case.
From Aidan Cocrinn
My seeing dream:
A star falling to Earth, bringing light and hope and healing back to the People. A magician, skilled in transformation of star stuff, must wield his ways to create a thing. The Queen of Hearts wields the weapon, magical, made of star stuff, bringing hope, light, love, back to the People. Urgent need.

The runic inscription coiled around the handle reads thusly:
"My name is Queen's Wrath! I am the mother's touch. Forged by Hengest Ulfsson, shaper of star-stuff. Tempt not my fury, fool, or you will die alone. Fore the Queens of Calontir are fierce, and will defend their own!"
From Her Majesty Rhianwen:
It has been a week, and I am still struggling to find words that will convey the emotion, praise, and sheer state of wonder surrounding the gift of Queen’s Wrath to Calontir’s Konungríki. I have concluded that such words do not exist.
She is a thing of beauty and power. Hengest, Huscarl of Calontir, put more than his skill into her making - plenty of blood, sweat, and soul are mixed into the metal. Parts of her are from his Huscarl axe, so the history of a line of stalwart warriors is woven in. She was originally conceived in a dream by Mistress Aiden, where she saw a star fall from the sky and be forged into an axe. Guided thus, Aiden brought a meteorite to Hengest to ask that the axe be made. The stuff of stars and dreams - and lifelong devotion to The Dream - is at her heart.
Master Alan’s skilled hands crafted a fine box in which she nests perfectly. Care, precision, and service surround her. For my part, I am astounded. When I first put my hand on her, the love and energy and hard work and skill and hopes and devotion to this Calontir family were palpable. It was exactly the same sensation as when lighting strikes nearby. I am deeply, deeply honored to be the first of our line of Queens to carry her.
Thank you, from both myself personally and from Calontir’s fierce Queens. With all my heart, thank you.
