History in the SCA:

Timeline:

• When started in SCA: A. S. twelve, aka 1977, when I was a freshman at Washington University in St. Louis. There was a household of Wash. U. people called House Bears'Haven (the totem beast of the college being a bear), which is where my name came from. My first event was Changelings that winter; one of my first events, then, was the Midrealm Crown that Three Rivers hosted in the spring of AS XIII. This was the event, if I recall correctly, at which Three Rivers became a Barony.
