Muster

Great Falcon Host,
Soon, we shall gather under the Royal Pavilion to join together in merry song!
Soon, we shall array ourselves in purple and gold and march to the field of battle!
Soon, we shall wander evening’s darkness together to see many wonders and visit friends from foreign lands!
Will you be there?
Please sign the Pennsic 2022 Muster and let us prepare for your presence! Let us tell our allies how many will join them! Let Fourth Company know how much soup and Gatorade to bring!
~General Rhianwen~

Other Highlights:

Shady Trees

On the Tuesday morning of war week, members of the Calontir camp awoke to find small plushie trees placed near the tents at the encampment. Each was marked with a tag saying "Pennsic 2022 Collectible - Shady Tree". The trees were in reference to a line from the song Cheer, which (falsely) states that "The Serengeti's filled with shady trees" (the Serengeti being the flat expanse upon which Calontir camps and has exactly zero trees within the Calontir encampment). They were created primarily by Jon Chesey with assistance stuffing from Rochwen Morwenna.

Comments and Impressions:

  • I want to thank Antonia Stefani for running the Soup Kitchen at Pennsic. I know there were others who helped, but having that to come back to after fighting is amazing. Also Anna Schuster for coordinating the waterbearing. Again, I know a lot of folks helped, but it was so good to have it on the field.
