*I’ve won a number of other bardic contests over the years, some of which I remember best by the prizes I still have around: a cup from the annual Most Depressing Song Contest, a puzzle chair, handwoven trim, a ceramic bottle that came with mead in it, a couple of leather journals, a leather case with writing utensils, a canvas utensil holder with rustic pencils, jewelry, several books and a couple of scrolls I wrote the song “Lady of the Rose” for an In Praise contest, which it won.

  • (I’m including a lot of details here mostly to help me remember and keep track. Please pardon the list of every little achievement.)
  • I first heard about the SCA in the 1980s, but started playing in 2001 in the Outlands.

  • Served as an archery marshal and achieved the rank of Forester in the Outlands
  • 2005-2015 only attended a few events. Busy with divorce, remarriage, moving home to Missouri and making babies.
