Name

Meaning: "David, son of Abraham, from the city of Sisar"

Commonly called: "Dawi" or "Davi," the Arabic diminutive of "Da'ud"

Preferred title: "Sayyid," Arabic equivalent of "Honorable Lord"

Persona

Turn-of-the-millennium Jewish Buyyid Persian courtier who has traveled among the Rus'. Based loosely on the life of Ahmed ibn Fadlan.

History in the SCA

  • Joined the SCA at Gryphon's Fest 2013, receiving Newcomer Mug from Damien I and Issabell I.
  • Attended Gulf Wars 2015 as first foreign war, taking a squire's belt from Syr Duncan Eardstapa before the Ravine Battle.
