Introduction of Group:
il Compagnia dell'Arcangelo Gabriele is a personal household founded by Mirza Jibra'il `Attar.The household is based on the concept of the service confraternities of 15th-century Florence. The Compagnia was established as a place for newcomers to the Society and/or Kingdom to meet other newcomers or those willing to help them, provide a place to ask questions and get answers, and as a way to encourage participation in the SCA through service and artistry.
Members:
Membership in the Compagnia is voluntary and fairly amorphous. If the household serves a purpose for you, you are welcome to claim membership. Conversely, you are welcome to leave the Compagnia at any time to pursue your own endeavors. You are also encouraged to be a Mentor to members of the household, as a sounding board for questions or be able to provide guidance when and where needed (ie: assist with researching period cooking, teach a member how to make something, encouarge and guide a member thorugh their first time as steward or officer, etc).
