Comments and Impressions:
- I've gotta say, anyone that didn't stay for feast last night... You missed out. SUPER YUM! HUGE thank-you to the kitchen team! I would say the chicken dish was my favorite, it was on a bed of noodles and came with a béchamel sauce… it was the best comfort food ever! - Lee W.
- Also, for those who missed the Drama (which we hope was everyone, BTW), the Cook of the day was NOT the original Feast steward, who had a family emergency (She and hers are doing ok). Stephanie Campbell (Isabelle? Isabeax? (Sorry, I can't remember!!!)) had selected some amazing recipes and Andrew DeJean (Tyr) put it together, with help from tons of people. Even figuring out at 4:45 that we didn't have enough serving platters for the original setup couldn't stop us! We may have had to serve in aluminum foil pans at one point, but we got everyone fed! Kudos to an amazing kitchen team and everyone who chopped, ran to the store, washed dishes, plated, served, sauteed or otherwise lent a hand!
- I would like to say "Thank you" to all who attended Crown Tournament . It was a blast and hope it was fun for all . Oh , Congratulations to His Lordship David de la Cloude and Sir Rhianwen ferch Bran ap Gruffydd on become our new Heirs !! YIS Steward for Crown Tournament, Lord Brynjolfr Inn Eyverski
Unto the People of the Heartland come greetings from David and Rhianwen, Heirs to the Falcon Throne, Thank you all so much for a wonderful Crown Tournament. Seeing the honor and skill of the combatants as well as the kindness and joy of the consorts was truly an inspiration. A special thanks to Their Majesties Agamemnon and Marie for hosting, and to Their Excellencies Giacomo and Nadya and the Barony of Three Rivers for their stellar hospitality. The greatest treasure of Calontir is the love of her people. We are profoundly grateful for the opportunity to serve the people as the Kingdom’s Heirs. Thank you so much for the outpouring of support and for your kind words.
We will be reaching out with contact information for our Chamberlain in the next day or so. We can hardly wait to see our Calon family together again at Lilies! - David and Rhianwen
