It's cute, and it's famous art, but it isn't heraldry...

That's not a drakkar, even with a head and tail, because it's teensy (four guys fill it) and has no sail. I'd call it a landing boat, and it's contourny, btw. The larger issue is that there is no way this is recognizable as anything but a blob from more than arm's length away. An urchin? A flame? A cauldron boiling over? There is no way that many of the details in your blazon, including "helmed" and which hand is holding what, are discernable. Technically, I believe those shields would be hung on the boat; since they are sailing to sinister, the shields would have to be in their right hands to be visible.

It looks like (fieldless) A sailless drakkar contourny gules (or sable) is clear as a badge. Take out the little Vikings, draw it in a more heraldic style, and submit with all speed. ;)

February 2006 registered a mastless drakkar out of Atenveldt:

Bryndís Eiríksdóttir. Name and device. Vert, in pale an otter passant and a mastless drakkar reversed argent.
