- My husband and I started in the SCA in early 1986 in the Principality of Drachenwald. We left in late 1987 for the United States -- without our P.C.S. awards. After our kids were older, we found a local group in the Kingdom of Calontir in 1994. We were one of the founding families of my current Shire soon after that.
