Introduction to Group
The Shire of Shadowdale encompasses Johnson County in Iowa, including the cities of Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty, as well as the University of Iowa.
History
In the early years of the Society, the first group in each state was made a Barony. During those early days the Barony of Dumnonia emerged from the mists in the lands of Iowa. As years went by, so did Dumnonia. From the ashes of those ancestral lands rose the phoenix known as the Shire of Shadowdale.
