==Hosting FB events on the Kingdom Page==
''as of 4 September 2024''
Just a quick and friendly reminder that official Kingdom events should be hosted by an official account (typically the Kingdom Page) to help boost visibility and ensure everything runs smoothly.
If you’ve already created an event, no worries! Please simply add the Kingdom Page as a co-host.
Local group’s official pages (not personal accounts) are welcome to create Kingdom events too! Just be sure to add the Kingdom Page as a co-host so everything stays connected. 😊
Feel free to email me at socialmedia@calontir.org with the following details:
• Event name
• Date, time, and location
• Event description
• Any relevant links
• An image (optional—I’m happy to create one if needed!)
• The Facebook names of any co-hosts (exact names help me find people more easily)

Adding another group's FB events to your group's FB Calendar:

as of 2 September 2024

Using the Facebook account for your group that you used to set up your public page, navigate to a facebook event that you want to add to your group's calendar.

(I search for things a lot and events like Toys for Tots require some interesting search parameters because Toys for Tots is a HUGE event with dozens or hundreds of participants. Ran ito a similar problem with Chilies because of the restaurant)

Once you're at the event page, click on the three dots under the right side of the pictures.

Click on the "Add to Page" option which will bring up a pop-up window.

The only group available should be your own group. It might be greyed out, but it'll still work.

Hit the "Add Event" button and it should port a link to that event over to your page without creating duplicate events.
