Basic Information[edit | edit source]

Personas[edit | edit source]

Hirsch Ross Eichman - 15th century German

  • Hirsch grew up near Strasbourg under giant oak trees, but as the third son of a barely landed noble, he left home to seek his fortune. In Strasbourg, he had some small advancement in station, and became familiar with the tournament circuit. When traveling to the Low Countries, Hirsch met a brilliant and beautiful Flemish woman, Magdalena vander Meere, the love of his life. After a suitable and delightful courtship, they married, and their tale began in earnest.
  • Married life suited Hirsch, but so did Tournament, so he did both, bringing his family along, through Alsace, Switzerland and Italy, from Trieste to Cologne, earning some renown. Even after earning estates of their own, Hirsch and Magdalena continue to travel. Their three sons, also familiar with the tournament circuit, have begun to seek their own fortunes as well.

Magdalena vander Meere - 15th century Flemish

  • Magdalena was born in Brugge, and raised in the Flemish court. She was taught all the womanly arts, but never quite mastered a serene visage. Her face gives away her feelings way more often than is proper for a lady. While she loves cooking, sewing, children, and entertaining, she also enjoys shooting, riding, and travel. Eventually, she married well, and bore fine sons who have grown to be fine men. Hers is a family of Fyrdmen, for which she indulges in the sin of pride.
