Greetings Calontir!

As many of you are preparing to travel next weekend to attend Fall Crown Tournament, we have a few reminders for you.

• The weather is a fickle thing; but, if we can fight outside, we will be doing so. Please bring chairs and suitable garb for whatever the temperatures end up being. Personal shades are welcome if they have ground weights to hold them in place. No ground stakes may be put in the practice field the tournament will take place on.
• Site is dry.
• No pets, though service animals are perfectly good.
• There will be two fundraisers to raise money for the kingdom soup kitchen. The first will be the soup tavern lunch which will be available for donations. The second will be a silent auction. We have some armor pieces, a walnut fyrd mug, a cut and thrust single sword with finger guards (Made by soon to be Master Sir Cai!) , some trim, and some other items.
• Sir Cai's "Ice Cream Social Vigil" will open after the Chiv meeting held after the tournament!
• Childrens' activities wil lbe held after the tournament. Please bring coffee cans and easter eggs to make instruments. (I have heard that these instruments will have a definite opportunity to be used at Lilies this year!)
• This even is taking palce in Andover. There will bestores, gas stations, restaurants, and other service available close to site.

Join us on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, at 9:30 AM, for an exhilarating experience as we livestream the Calontir Crown Tournament! Witness noble combatants vie for the prestigious honor to lead Our Kingdom in this grand event that promises to showcase exceptional skill and valor. In an effort to continue inclusion within Calontir and out, you can tune in to our livestream on YouTube to witness the unfolding drama, breathtaking displays of prowess, and the glory of chivalry on full display.

We expect there to be enough cellular service on site to livestream Crown Tournament in it's entirety, including the Procession before. However, please know that because the event site does not have wifi access, we may run into technical difficulties.

HOW TO WATCH:

• Go to https://youtube.com/@kingdomofcalontir and select the "Live" option from the menu.

• • Select the livestream that you wish to view from the current list.

• • • This will give you direct access to any live streams going, but we will not be setting up a scheduled event, as it created issues the last time we attempted to use it.

There were 236 attendees.

His Serene Highness Dafydd gave gifts to Their Majesties.

5 newcomers received mugs.

Gabriel Ember brought news of the upcoming Midwinter Knight’s Dream event in Theobald College.

Master Rhodri Gold Falcon spoke to the populace about job openings within the Calontir College of Heralds: Red Hawk Herald, Eyas Herald, and Gold Falcon Principal Herald.

Mistress Maria Arosa de Santa Olalla brought news of the upcoming Toys for Tots event in Wyvern Cliffe.
