Rat out a Friend
- This is a piece that was done by HL Richard Randolph before he died about 15 years ago. He called it his "Opus" He was a long time member of Spinning Winds He was a fighter that had gotten into embroidery due to arthritic hands. It was probably entered by HL Kai of Weatherhill (this is what she went by in Spinning Winds). I watched Richard do this piece for many months. Katrin and I have photos of the piece in our possession. - Michael Prohaska in 2014
- Richard taught me a great deal about needle work, when I was new. I asked once how long this took to do, and got told I didn't want to know. - Catlin Mills
- ...split stitch. Hundreds and hundreds of mind-bogglingly precise split stitch. - Fiondel
