-Using the Facebook account for your group that you used to set up your public page, navigate to a facebook event that you want to add to your group's calendar.
-(I search for things a lot and events like Toys for Tots require some interesting search parameters because Toys for Tots is a HUGE event with dozens or hundreds of participants. Ran ito a similar problem with Chilies because of the restaurant)
-Once you're at the event page, click on the three dots under the right side of the pictures.
-Click on the "Add to Page" option which will bring up a pop-up window.
-The only group available should be your own group. It might be greyed out, but it'll still work.
-Hit the "Add Event" button and it should port a link to that event over to your page without creating duplicate events.
