* Seathrun Brock was born sometime in the mid-16th Century in County Donegal, Ireland to a family aligned with the English Crown. In 1587, an envoy of the English Crown accused Brock of treason, going so far as to attack his wife, Eawynn Ingen Broccain, accusing her of colluding with known Irish rebels. The Brock lands were summarily forfeited to the English Crown while Seathrun and Eawynn beat a hasty retreat to County Mayo, where they became employed as riverboat pirates by the only Queen Brock swore to give his allegiance ever again: Grace O'Malley.
